Brother Rat’s January Report

Brother Rat Gardening

I am being made to do my bit for the care of creation. Reluctantly, I went into Helen’s garden with her and looked for pest plants and noxious weeds in her native fernery. These had to be dug out. I found some blue morning glory. I thought it was such a pity to dig it out because the flowers are so pretty. But I was told that if it goes wild it will strangle NZ native vegetation. What does that matter? I think this creation care bit is way over the top. What is wrong with a few pest plants and noxious weeds?

By the way, has anyone got a nice closet for me to retire to after convocation in May? I could bribe the judges to let me go home with you.
