A Message from Co-Minister Shoshanah Kay

Sisters and Brothers,

I write this from a hotel room in San Antonio as I watch with sadness the news rolling in as Paris explodes. I witness the cold power of violence, the dark power of fear. “Love one another” feels a feeble response. We take baby steps among friends, within families, within OEF.

“Love one another as I have loved you”, commands and commends our crucified risen Lord, no stranger to violence. Shortly I will be on a plane, heading to Mexico to participate in a month long Spanish language immersion experience. It is an unsettling day to be travelling. I trust in the God who loves us everyone. I lean into the love that holds us each and all.

Love and prayers,

shoshanah
